Objectives

 

 

 

GRAVITY Happy Back is a specific training and certification course created by Matilde Demarchi, International Master Trainer Gravity, Dancer, Choreographer, and 2nd generation Pilates Instructor with over 35 years of international experience. It is dedicated to all professionals in the dance field and those involved in the physical preparation of dancers who want to acquire practical and theoretical knowledge of the Total Gym GRAVITY Training System.

Classes and programs are designed for all professionals involved in the world of physical activity who want to help people, athletes, and dancers prevent back pain or improve spinal discomfort by strengthening and lengthening supporting muscles and increasing movement awareness. Thanks to this training program on Total Gym ELEVATE ENCOMPASS or GTS, specific programs and lessons will be learned to prevent back injuries, increase coordination, rebalance, and strengthen the body and mind.

 

The concepts of the GRAVITY Happy Back program are deeply rooted in over 35 years of fieldwork experience through a profound understanding of the unique biomechanics of Total Gym ELEVATE Encompass or GTS, which using body weight allows for the creation of a new effective work protocol for back well-being.

 

The objectives of the program are to prevent injuries, recover rapidly from injuries, increase strength, center control, body awareness, coordination, flexibility, reduce stress on the spine, but also on all other joints involved in verticality, and realign the body segments of students/patients.

 

This course will also give you the opportunity to learn how to bring people suffering from back pain back to the joy of moving safely!
